Garlic Mushroom Pasta Recipe | Low Calorie Dinner
Ingredients
- Low-calorie cooking spray
- 200g mushrooms
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, finely diced
- Salt & pepper
- 1 tsp Dried Parsley
- 120g low-fat cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon wholegrain mustard
- 2 nests of Tagliatelli, cooked, or any pasta of your choice
Instructions
- Spray a pan with low-calorie cooking spray
- Add the diced onions and cook until softened.
- Add the mushrooms and stir
- Add the garlic, and continue to cook for 3 mins, careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add the salt, pepper and parsley.
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta as per the pack instructions.
- Add the cream cheese and mustard, and stir until it melts
- Add 4 tbsp pasta water to the sauce and stir until smooth and creamy. Add more if required.
- Add the pasta to the sauce and mix until it is covered.
