As much as I love my Fakeaways, sometimes I just NEED to order myself a takeaway. It takes a lot of effort to cook every night, and we all deserve a break sometimes!
There are lots of delivery companies to choose from now, but I have had some issues ordering through one of them recently, which put me off ordering again.
There is nothing worse than really looking forward to your treat takeaway, and then when it arrives it's either cold or has items missing.
Foodhub is a food delivery service that offers some of your favourite takeaways in your area. They kindly offered me a free dinner so that I could test them out for myself!
Foodhub are in loads of locations all over the UK, and I was impressed at the variety of takeaways they had on offer. We invited a few friends over to join in the feast, and went for one of my favourites, Italian.
La Vita is somewhere that we have ordered from before and enjoyed, so thought it would be a great restaurant to use to test out the website.
The website was quick and easy to use, with us selecting the takeaway and viewing the menu in seconds. I went for a chicken and spinach pasta bake with a delicious Greek salad.
Once we had placed our order, the confirmation screen showed the process of our order being cooked, and kept us updated when it was on the way
The food arrived hot, and was delivered within 35 minutes. The website and ordering process was super simple, and took the stress out of the evening.
The delivery fee was only £1, which is much cheaper than some of their competitors.
I will definitely use them again for my next takeaway!
