A few years ago I bought my first enamel dish and I became obsessed with it. So obsessed that I ended up buying enamel plates, dishes and side dishes.
They used to be popular with campers for their versatility and how light weight they are, but I think they also make a fab food photo! I was recently sent a Tala oven-to-table roasting tin to try out for myself, and I couldn't wait to get using it.
The style is reminiscent of the understated style of the 1950’s and is manufactured entirely in England with robust, commercial weight steel.
They are extremely high quality, durable and last a lifetime. It's also dishwasher safe, and one of the best things I have always found with enamelware is how easy it is to clean. You can take it straight out of the oven and use it to serve. It's a fab product, and one that I will use again and again.
I created a delicious steak and eggs recipe, which we enjoyed on a lazy Sunday morning!
