The key to keeping on plan and on track for me, is to make and stick to a meal plan. Sure, it can take time, but in the long run it saves so much time. There's nothing worse than coming home from work and having to work out what to have for dinner and how many syns you have left etc.

I recently got together a shopping list for Tesco, to make a meal plan that is as cheap and as easy to follow as possible.

The total amount for this full shopping list is £33.82, which works out at less than £1.70 per meal!




I used Tesco as I found they they were the cheapest, but you can use this shopping list in any store that you like :)

Lunch: Tuna Baked Potato

Dinner: Tomato & Chilli Pasta (Top with 40g extra light cheese for Healthy Extra A)

Wednesday

Breakfast:  Fruit & Yogurt (unflavoured yogurt to be syn free, otherwise syn accordingly!)

Lunch: Cheese Toastie

Dinner: Bacon Egg & Chip Bake

Thursday

Breakfast: Beans on Toast (Healthy Extra B Bread)

Lunch: Chicken Salad 

Dinner: Spaghetti Carbonara (Top with 40g extra light cheese for Healthy Extra A)

Friday

Breakfast: Fruit

Lunch: Beans on Toast  (Top with 40g extra light cheese for Healthy Extra A, Healthy Extra B bread)

Dinner: Sausage Casserole

Saturday

Breakfast: Bacon Sandwich (Healthy Extra B Bread)

Lunch: Coronation Chicken Jacket

Dinner: Pizza Topped Fries (Top with 40g extra light cheese for Healthy Extra A)

Sunday

Breakfast: Fried Egg Sandwich (Healthy Extra B Bread)
