If, like me, you LOVE pizza, you'll appreciate any way to be able to eat pizza on the Slimming World plan. Pizza topped chicken breasts are really popular within the SW community, so I decided to try it out with a burger instead!

Pizza Topped Burgers Recipe

You will need-
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 garlic cloves, crushed
500g extra lean beef mince
4 x 40g slices of light mozzarella
100g passata
Salt & pepper
1 tsp Italian herbs

Salami to top
Method-
Place the mince, onion, Worcestershire sauce and garlic in a bowl. Season well and mix until combined, then divide into 4 portions and shape each into a large burger.
Place the 4 pattis in the frying pan and cook on a medium heat for about 5 mins each side.
Mean while mix the passata with the salt, pepper and herbs.
On one side of the burgers add the tomato sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Cover the frying pan and turn off the heat. This will allow the cheese to melt and the burgers to steam.
Serve with salad, chips and beans.
